BIK Boom Trucks has announced the launch of its newest grapplesaw truck — the TC-140.
This model features a 130 ton-meter knuckleboom crane with an impressive 140 feet of vertical reach and full 360 degree stability with 100% load chart.
The TC-140 sets a new benchmark in reach and functionality, equipped with nine hydraulic extensions on the outer boom and seven on the fly-jib — offering unmatched precision and flexibility for demanding tree-care applications.
The crane is powered by eight individual hydraulic functions running from the valve block, including two dedicated ½-inch lines designed specifically for the grapplesaw. These dedicated lines boost performance and efficiency while reducing heat in the hydraulic system.
A twin-pump system running on a dedicated auxiliary transmission allows multiple operations to run simultaneously without loss of speed or power. Hydraulic hose reels have replaced traditional hose trays for smoother, more efficient fluid delivery. The crane also features a 4ton lifting cable.
The boom is mounted on a Twin-Steer Western Star 49X chassis. A class-leading wheelbase of 242″ and total truck length of only 32′ while coming in under 72,000 lbs total weight, making this one of the most compact 100+ton/m grapplesaw trucks on the market.
